Find answers to the most common questions about our Maine Coon cattery and the adoption process.
Do you offer Maine Coon kittens for sale nationwide?
Yes. EuroCoons offers Maine Coon kittens for sale to approved homes across the United States. However, our placement is centered around in-person pickup near Kansas City. We do not ship kittens via cargo, but you can fly in-cabin with your kitten.
Are EuroCoons kittens available with breeding rights?
No. EuroCoons places Maine Coon kittens as companions only. Kittens leave already spayed or neutered by our veterinarian, with absolutely no breeding rights offered under any circumstances.
What is included in the adoption fee?
Your kitten's adoption fee includes: early spay/neuter surgery, age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, microchipping, a final veterinary health certificate, a comprehensive genetic health guarantee, TICA registration slip, and a kitten starter pack with their current food.
Do your Maine Coon kittens come from European lineage?
Yes. EuroCoons works exclusively with established European lineage while raising the kittens in the United States. This focus ensures the strong structure, fierce expression ("wild look"), and gentle temperament the European lines are famous for.
How big will my Maine Coon kitten get?
Maine Coons are slow-maturing cats and can grow until they are 3 to 5 years old. While genetics play a big role (and our kings are very large), adult males typically weigh between 18-25 lbs, and females between 12-16 lbs. We breed for heavy boning and length, which gives them their impressive size.
